Casabond Bonding Agents

Casabond bonding agents are designed to create durable, reliable adhesion between rubber, textiles, and metals in demanding environments. They help reinforcement layers stay securely anchored under dynamic loads, temperature cycling, flexing, and exposure to oils, moisture, and other harsh conditions.

Technology Options to Fit Your Process
Casabond resorcinol/stearic acid blends are easy to incorporate directly into rubber compounds, supporting consistent bonding performance without major changes to existing formulations. Reactive isocyanates are optimised for solvent-based adhesive systems, delivering strong bonds to a wide range of substrates. Phenolic condensates are tailored for use in RFL (resorcinol–formaldehyde–latex) systems, providing robust adhesion to textiles used in dipped fabrics and cords.

Processing and Handling Benefits
Casabond products are engineered for efficient processing as well as performance. Flaked and powdered grades disperse cleanly into mixing systems with good batch-to-batch consistency, while liquid grades are formulated for stable viscosity and predictable application in adhesive and dip lines.

Applications and End-Use Performance
Casabond bonding agents are used across a broad range of reinforced rubber goods, including tyres, conveyor and drive belts, industrial and automotive hoses, rubberised fabrics, and other engineered elastomer components. In these applications, Casabond helps extend service life, improve reliability, and maintain adhesion strength over the full operating life of the product.
