Casamid® Reactive Matting Agents

Casamid® reactive matting agents are designed for industrial, automotive, and protective powder coatings, delivering fast cure, excellent film formation, and long-lasting resistance to corrosion, chemicals, and environmental stress.

Formulation Flexibility

Engineered for Interior grades for use in epoxy and hybrid coatings and exterior grade for use in exterior
durable polyester coatings crosslinked with TGIC and glycidyl esters Custom chemistries provide control over:

• Cure time and temperature
• Mechanical strength
• Surface finish and appearance

Interior Grades
Casamid® 790A – colour and gloss stable matting agent for use in white and pastel coloured epoxy and hybrid coatings.
Casamid® 1416 – general purpose matting agent for use in dark coloured epoxy and hybrid coatings.
Casamid® 1432 – gloss stable matting agent for use in dark coloured, ultra low gloss epoxy and hybrid powder coatings.
Casamid® 1457 – general purpose matting agent for use in mid shade hybrid coatings.

Exterior Grade
Casamid® 2228 – special reactive matting agent for use with TGIC and glycidyl ester crosslinkers, such as Araldite PT910.
